Confirmation

Confirmation is a sacrament of initiation in the Catholic Church in which the Holy Spirit strengthens the gifts first received at Baptism. Through prayer and the anointing with sacred chrism, individuals are sealed with the Spirit and empowered to live out their faith more fully, bearing witness to Christ in their daily lives. It is a deepening of one’s relationship with God and a call to active participation in the life and mission of the Church.
