We invite you to join our parish team by serving in one of our liturgical ministries.
Every member of our parish has a part to play, and your gifts and presence are needed to help make our worship meaningful and prayerful. Participating in these ministries is a wonderful way to grow in faith, share your talents, and serve the parish community. Below is a list of the different ministries and the roles they play in our liturgies.
Sacristan - Arrives 30 minutes prior to theCelebration of Mass, sets up all items necessary for the Celebration of Mass, is responsible for coordinating the check in of all needed ministers for the Celebration of Mass.
Proclaimer - Proclaim the Word of God to the Faithful at Mass. Must be of High School age and above.
Usher - Great family opportunity. Arrives 15 minutes prior to the Celebration of Mass, assist in seating people, assist in the collection at Preparation of Gifts time and assists with direction of people during the distribution of communion. Picks up pews after mass is over by picking of left worship aids and putting Breaking Bread books in correct place.
Greeter - Great family opportunity. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the Celebration of Mass, take your given station at the entrance of the Church to welcome people as they arrive. Assist in handing out music worship aids and bulletins.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion - Assist priests in the distribution of communion at the weekend Mass. Must be 18 years of age, fully initiated into the Church, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
Altar Server - For 4th grade and above including adults. Assist the priests during mass.
Team Catechist Children’s Liturgy of the Word - Co-lead the Liturgy of the Word for Parish children ages 4-9 at the 9:15 a.m. Sunday Mass. Weekly rotation in Advent and Lent.
Care of Altar Linens - Clean linens after Sunday liturgies. Monthly rotation. One month a year.
Sew or Embroider Baptismal Garments
Arts & Environment - Assist in decorating the liturgical environment for the different Liturgical seasons
